Sunday Whimsy

a few images & words for your eyes this weekend.

Hey! How's your weekend going? Mine has been fantastic—Friday night was Trevor Noah live at the QE Theatre, and Saturday was full of friends, Book Bite projects, board games, and Malaysian chicken curry.

Today I went out to Steveston to have sushi with my grandmother. Good food was followed by a picturesque walk around Gary Point to see kids flying kites, little fishing boats, and sparkling blue ocean. The weather has changed and the sun is out and it feels like the whole world is alive and blooming again. I hope you have a chance to go out and enjoy it!

And if you're looking for some fun links to peruse on (hopefully!) your day off, here are a few to get your started.

  • I love everything about Artful Desperado (blog and Instagram). Gabriel Cabrera is hilarious and his photos are always vibrant works of art. No one does food styling and bold colours like him!

  • I thought this piece on information overload was so thought-provoking. The whole slow living movement is a popular topic of discussion on the Internet, but this piece really spoke to me. When I was making my New Years goals I tried to find a happy medium between thoughtful consumption and moderation, but I do love Instagram.

Happy Sunday to you.

Cheers,

Miriam
